The Veterans Technology Services 2 (VETS 2) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs and is exclusively set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). How to Order
Federal agencies can place orders against the VETS 2 GWAC through the following process:
Define Requirements
Develop a Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS) that clearly defines the IT requirements, deliverables, and evaluation criteria.
Submit Request for Quote
Issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) to VETS 2 contract holders through the designated ordering portal. Fair opportunity procedures apply for orders exceeding the micro-purchase threshold.
Evaluate & Award
Evaluate proposals based on the criteria established in the solicitation. The ordering agency selects the contractor that provides the best value solution.
Issue Task Order
Upon selection, the ordering agency issues a task order against the VETS 2 GWAC. The task order references the master contract terms and includes order-specific details.
